Conduct, a London-based startup founded by three former Palantir engineers, has raised $60 million in a Series A funding round led by Index Ventures and Iconiq. The round also included participation from Creandum, Lucid Capital, Bloom, and strategic investment from German software company SAP. This funding comes less than nine months after Conduct secured $11 million in a seed round, according to sifted.eu.
The startup is developing an agentic AI operating system designed to help large enterprises manage their highly customized software systems. Conduct’s CEO and cofounder JP Haas explained that these systems often contain decades of complex business logic, making it difficult and slow for enterprises to adapt to changing conditions such as new tariffs or supply chain disruptions. Conduct’s platform uses AI agents to synthesize this business logic and optimize system modifications.
This funding round highlights growing investor interest in AI solutions that address enterprise software complexity. Conduct’s approach is notable for embedding AI agents directly into existing systems, a strategy supported by SAP’s strategic investment and integration plans. The $60 million Series A is among the larger recent investments in AI startups focused on enterprise operating systems, reflecting a broader trend of AI adoption in business process automation.
Conduct was founded in 2024 and has quickly attracted major backers, including Index Ventures and Iconiq. The company’s next milestone will be scaling deployments with SAP and other enterprise clients, leveraging the new capital to expand its platform capabilities and market reach.
