Cars24 has launched Deployment Inc, an independent enterprise AI company, backed by $5 million in seed funding from Cars24 itself, the company announced. Deployment Inc aims to help organizations design, implement, and operate AI systems across critical business workflows. The startup is led by Cars24 executive Jayesh Gupta and former xAI backend engineering specialist Aayush Gupta.
Deployment Inc plans to expand its team by hiring 50 engineers this month, alongside AI strategy and go-to-market professionals. Its business model centers on forward deployed engineers (FDEs) who work inside customer organizations to address fragmented AI deployment processes that currently involve multiple teams and timelines. The FDEs will connect AI models to company data and systems, deploy new workflows, benchmark them against existing processes, and ensure reliable operation at scale, according to Cars24 cofounder and CEO Vikram Chopra.
The launch of Deployment Inc comes amid growing enterprise demand for AI integration, where the challenge lies in turning powerful AI models into dependable systems. Deployment Inc has been selected as an OpenAI Select Partner for enterprise deployments, granting access to OpenAI’s advanced capabilities. This positions the startup to address a critical gap in AI adoption by providing hands-on deployment expertise within client organizations.
Deployment Inc’s seed funding and OpenAI partnership set the stage for rapid growth, with the company targeting immediate hiring and enterprise client engagements. Cars24’s announcement was made this week, marking a strategic expansion of its AI initiatives into enterprise solutions.
