PhonePe reports 11.5% revenue growth to ₹7,920 crore in FY26

PhonePe posted a consolidated revenue of ₹7,920 crore for the financial year 2026, marking an 11.47% increase from the previous year, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies.

PhonePe posted a consolidated revenue of ₹7,920 crore for the financial year 2026, marking an 11.47% increase from the previous year, according to filings with the Registrar of Companies. The fintech platform also reported a net loss of ₹1,377 crore in FY26, while its total consolidated net loss widened to ₹2,792 crore from ₹1,727 crore in FY25.

The revenue growth of ₹815 crore was disclosed in regulatory filings submitted by PhonePe, which is preparing for its initial public offering. The company did not recognise certain revenues related to specific transactions, as noted in the filings. PhonePe was established in December 2015 and has since become one of India’s largest fintech platforms, promoting digital adoption among consumers and merchants.

PhonePe’s financial results come amid increased competition in India’s digital payments space, where companies are investing heavily in user acquisition and technology. The widened net loss reflects the company’s continued spending on growth and expansion. Comparable fintech firms have also reported losses while scaling operations, underscoring the sector’s focus on long-term market share over immediate profitability.

PhonePe’s next major milestone will be its IPO, which is anticipated to provide further clarity on its financial trajectory and market valuation. The company’s FY26 filings provide a detailed snapshot of its performance ahead of this public listing, which is closely watched by investors and market participants.
