Bengaluru-based managed workspace operator Table Space has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) to raise up to ₹800 crore through a fresh issue and an offer for sale of 6.55 crore shares by existing shareholders, according to inc42.com. The company also has an option for a pre-IPO placement of up to ₹160 crore, which would be adjusted against the fresh issue. This move follows a delay of over a year from its original IPO timeline.

Table Space initially targeted an IPO filing by April 2025 at a valuation of around $2.5 billion, but the timeline was disrupted by the death of founder and CEO Amit Banerji in January 2025. Afterward, cofounders Karan Chopra and Kunal Mehra took over as co-CEOs. The company converted into a public company in 2025 and appointed three independent directors as it resumed IPO preparations. Since then, Table Space has expanded its business significantly.

The managed workspace market in India has evolved beyond leasing desks, with competitors like Awfis and WeWork India offering broader flexible workspace platforms. Table Space has focused on providing managed workspaces mainly to enterprises, multinational corporations, and global capability centres for about a decade. The company’s larger footprint and renewed IPO plans reflect its adaptation to this changing market landscape.

Table Space’s DRHP filing marks a key step toward its public listing after more than a year’s delay, with the company now positioned to raise up to ₹800 crore through the IPO, as reported by inc42.com.
