Rashi Peripherals Ltd (RP Tech), an information and communications technology company, has acquired a 67% stake in VDA Infosolutions for ₹368.5 crore. The deal values VDA Infosolutions, which provides enterprise IT infrastructure and digital solutions, at ₹550 crore. RP Tech plans to acquire the remaining 33% stake over the next three years through a pre-defined mechanism, according to a filing with stock exchanges.
The acquisition process involved RP Tech purchasing the majority stake upfront while agreeing to a structured plan for the balance stake acquisition. VDA Infosolutions specializes in enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud computing, enterprise storage, cybersecurity, and data lifecycle management.
