Enterprise AI startup logcat.ai has raised $2.5 million (about ₹24 crore) in a pre-seed funding round led by US-based seed-stage investor Founders’ Co-op, the company announced. The round also included participation from Act One Ventures, TheFounderVC, Shorewind Capital, Clayoquot Capital, and Alumni Ventures. The fresh capital will primarily be used to expand the startup’s engineering team and enhance its AI platform’s capabilities, cofounder and CTO Tarun Vashisth told inc42.com.
Founded in 2025 by former Esper engineers Varun Chitre and Tarun Vashisth, logcat.ai is developing an AI platform called Delta that automates Android and Linux device engineering. Delta analyses system traces across Android and embedded Linux, identifies root causes of software issues, and recommends code-level fixes. The platform supports the entire operating system engineering lifecycle, including diagnosing bugs, validating fixes, and assisting with system builds, according to inc42.com.
The startup’s AI platform aims to accelerate product launches in sectors ranging from smartphones and robots to airport kiosks and other connected devices by helping engineering teams resolve system-level issues faster. logcat.ai claims that Delta has analysed more than 10 billion lines of trace data and completed thousands of autonomous fixes. This funding round adds to growing investor interest in AI tools that streamline complex software development tasks, inc42.com reported.
logcat.ai plans to use the funds to hire up to 10 specialised engineering roles and bolster its research and experimentation efforts. The company’s focus on automating Android and Linux engineering addresses a niche requiring expertise across multiple OS layers, positioning it to impact device development workflows significantly, inc42.com noted.
