Snabbit, an instant house-help startup operated by Maestroedge Solutions Pvt. Ltd, reported a loss of ₹167.75 crore for the fiscal year 2026 (FY26), a nearly 30-fold increase from ₹5.70 crore in FY25. Revenue rose to ₹12.25 crore in FY26 from ₹26.35 lakh the previous year, according to financial statements ending March 31, 2026, as reported by livemint.com.
Founder and CEO Aayush Agarwal explained on LinkedIn that the significant losses were a deliberate investment to build the business from scratch. The company focused on customer adoption, workforce training, technology, infrastructure, and geographic expansion. Agarwal noted that the loss per job improved from about ₹1,500 at the start of FY26 to below ₹200 by the end of the year, reflecting operational efficiency gains.
The startup experienced rapid growth, scaling from 500 jobs a day at the beginning of FY26 to 35,000 daily jobs by year-end, a 70-fold increase. Snabbit also onboarded nearly one million customers during this period. The aggressive spending on marketing and workforce expansion aimed to capture market share in the competitive house-help services sector, where customer acquisition and job volume are critical metrics.
Aayush Agarwal emphasized that FY26 was Snabbit’s first full year of operations and that the company would repeat its investment strategy despite the losses. The startup’s financial disclosures highlight the challenges of scaling in the gig economy, with the next financial update expected after the close of FY27.
