Traveltech startup 30 Sundays raised ₹61 crore (about $6.7 million) in a Series A round led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from Info Edge Ventures and Eximius Ventures, the company announced. Founded in 2024 and based in Gurugram, the startup plans to use the funds to enhance its AI capabilities, grow its engineering team, boost brand building, and enter new international markets including Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and the Philippines, according to inc42.com.
The startup, founded by Kshitij Chaudhary, Anuj Punjani, and Sumit Mishra, operates an AI-native, full-stack holiday planning and booking platform focused on outbound Indian travelers. It offers end-to-end travel services through a video-first conversational interface and an in-app AI concierge that allows users to modify itineraries via voice commands. The platform also provides real-time data on expected crowds, travel times, queue lengths, and food options to enhance trip planning. 30 Sundays previously raised $770,000 in a pre-seed round earlier this year, inc42.com reported.
30 Sundays primarily targets couples seeking curated, experience-led holidays but plans to expand into adjacent segments such as families. Its AI technology supports multiple operational areas including lead qualification, itinerary creation, follow-ups, and reservations. The startup has recently launched offerings for New Zealand and Mauritius and aims to strengthen its position in the traveltech sector, which is witnessing increased adoption of AI-driven personalized travel solutions, according to inc42.com.
The company’s expansion into new international markets and enhancement of AI product features mark a significant growth phase. The fresh capital injection will also support brand building and scaling of the engineering team. 30 Sundays’ Series A funding round was confirmed by the startup on inc42.com on July 21.
