Enterprise tech startup CodeKarma is in discussions to raise between $5 million and $6 million in a new funding round led by existing investors Prosus and Accel, according to inc42.com. The Bengaluru-based company, founded in 2024 by Anantharam Vanchi Prakash and Priyanka Nahata, is currently negotiating the terms of the deal, which could still change.
The talks follow CodeKarma's pre-seed round a little over a year ago, when it raised $2.5 million co-led by Prosus, Accel, and Xeed Ventures, with participation from SenseAI Ventures and Stargazer Ventures. The startup operates a production intelligence platform that maps software behavior in production directly to its underlying code. CEO Prakash, formerly with Amazon and Flipkart, and CTO Nahata lead the company’s efforts to help developers and AI agents identify active and dormant code, detect performance issues, and understand dependencies within software systems.
CodeKarma’s platform currently includes four products: KarmaLens, which integrates production insights into developers’ environments; KarmaDomain, which maps dependencies across microservices and APIs; and KarmaPulse, which provides engineering leaders with an overview of software health. The startup’s approach addresses growing challenges in software development and maintenance, positioning it among emerging players in the enterprise tech space focused on production intelligence.
The funding round is ongoing, with no official confirmation yet from CodeKarma, Prosus, or Accel. The startup’s last funding event was its $2.5 million pre-seed round in 2025, and this new capital injection would support its growth and product development efforts.
